~ April 2025 ~ Happy Easter! He is risen indeed! Alleluia! Well, the long Lent is over, and now we can rejoice! I was telling a friend just last week that Easter has truly become my favorite holiday/liturgical season... As well as maturing in my faith and experiencing everything in the Latin rite from Septuagesima to the Easter vigil, as my friend reminded me, everything else in our faith points to the cross and resurrection. The reason Christmas is so beautiful is because our Savior became one of us, to be with us and to die for us. I always used to think that line, "the Bible is the greatest love story ever told" was kind of cringe and sappy. But...It actually holds to be true. The Bible and all of salvation history point to Christ's coming, death, and resurrection.
