Cheerful At Home

Happy Easter!  (and happy feast of the Ascension while we're at it!)  After yet another blogging hiatus, I am back! April was so busy that I never got around to the housewife journal and now it seems May is equally busy. I wanted to offer just a small Spring update to share some photos and get back into the habit of writing! Easter Here are my Easter baskets from Holy Saturday. I found these Peony-Tulip hybrid flowers at Trader Joe's. I wanted regular tulips so I was not expecting such a big, open bloom. But they were beautiful!!  Next time I'll probably put something less droopy in the basket. I was able to give away my second basket on Holy Saturday which was a special opportunity for me. Jonathan and I had to kill some time before meeting them, so we ended up going to a local museum and the Asian market. It was a fun, unexpected date! Easter was a beautiful day spent with family and now we are celebrating until Pentecost!  The Garden  I guess now it's time to...
